Music – Latest Recording “No One Like You”

“No One Like You” is the second single off the EP God Be Praised and came to life through a heartfelt private worship session focused on sanctification and being born again.

As a part of Made New Productions, the goal to share the Gospel is clear. In the early stages the song was originally called “Made New” to symbolize a new life in Christ. As Samarzia was thinking about the power and boldness of what Jesus did on the cross to sanctify us and wash us clean, he began worshiping privately on his keyboard as he pondered what it looks like to be a new creation.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17. In Revelation 7:14 it says, “And he said to me, ‘These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.’”

Foreshadowing of the Gospel is also in Isaiah 1:18: “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”

Blood. White. Snow. Rags to robes. The themes of being washed clean and bearing His light were forming as pure worship and prayer. Samarzia calls them “butterfly moments” where he knows to sit down and act on them before they go away.

“I was supposed to be getting ready for work at my construction job, and I felt like the Lord was saying to me, ‘What is more important? Hearing my Word or going to work?’ He wanted me to stop, slow down and be obedient,” said Samarzia. The song was completed in an hour.

The song was officially named “No One Like You” to reflect the incredible power of our God to sanctify us and bring us to eternal life. “We pray this song leads you into a powerful moment of worship—because truly, there is no one like our God,” said the Samarzias.
